Connor Smith is Head of the Rock Garden at Utrecht Botanic Garden. His talk will be 'Travels of a Scotsman – a summary of my travels to look at plants in different areas of the world, both in the wild and in cultivation, in countries such as Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Chile'. Plants For Shade & Woodland – Timothy Walker
The lecture will be held via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out ahead of time. From 1988 to 2014 Timothy Walker was director of the University of Oxford Botanic Garden. Since then he has been a Senior College Lecturer in Plant Biology at Somerville College, Oxford.

Plants Above Treeline – Geir Mohen
Geir lives in the countryside northeast of Oslo, Norway. His passion for plants began in childhood, guided by his grandmother’s early lessons in gardening. Over the past 30 years, he’s cultivated a wide range of plants, with a primary focus on alpine species. Although he initially wanted to grow every plant he encountered, he now finds great enjoyment in studying plants in their natural habitats.
