The event begins at 12 noon with a lecture from Conall O’Caoimh, of Ardán Garden, ‘Art in the Garden’ and is followed by a three-course lunch. The Royal Irish Yacht Club is about 200m West of the Dun Laoghaire train station. The address is Harbour Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, A96 RC84. The dress code is smart casual. Note that members are welcome to attend the lecture without coming to the lunch.

The Spring Local Show will be held in St Brigid's Parish Centre. Paddy Smith will be giving a workshop on growing gentians, there will be a plant sale, and of course tea, coffee, biscuits and chat. The lecture will be held via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out ahead of time. David Sellars is an award winning photographer and is a Past-President of the Alpine Garden Club of British Columbia. Together with his wife, Wendy, he is developing an alpine and woodland garden in coastal British Columbia. Connor Smith is Head of the Rock Garden at Utrecht Botanic Garden. His talk will be 'Travels of a Scotsman – a summary of my travels to look at plants in different areas of the world, both in the wild and in cultivation, in countries such as Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Chile'.
